Having finished and returned Wuthering Heights to the library, I think it's time to start something new, and I've chosen The Story of Philosophy by Will Durant. Philosophy is one of those subjects I feel I should know more about than I do, and Will Durant is such a great history writer that I know we'll get along famously if I can just stick with him for 500 plus pages, which could take me until graduation.
The haunted hayride was so much fun. I've done enough of these kinds of things now that I don't get really scared, only pleasantly scared, and even if Chris laughs at how easily startled I am, I know he does so in the fondest way possible. Marika and Dreith loved it too, and we are all now very much in the Halloween spirit. Chris has even proposed going to see Let Me In after he comes back from the city, where he's spent most of the day geeking out at Comic Con. I don't know how he'll have the energy to stay awake, but a horror movie just might do it.
